This game was billed as a potential "banana skin" for City against the unbeaten leaders of the Ryman Division One. In the event the game failed to live up to this billing as City adopted a more professional approach than their youthful visitors to run out as comfortable winners by three goals to nil with goals from Kelly, Webster and Hyde.
The game was played in miserable weather as can been seen above.
